The Ultimate Goal

I am a mother of three (two are infants). I consider myself a multi-tasker. If you are a mother and going to school you are a multi-tasker too. You probably already know how stressful that can be at times.
Juggling motherhood and school is not easy. It often leaves you feeling as if you are overdoing yourself. When you’re writing a paper, preparing for a presentation, or writing stories for the school newspaper; you feel as if you’re not spending enough time with your kids. And, when you’re spending quality time with your kids, you feel as if you’re falling behind in school work.
It’s not good to be a procrastinator but when you’re juggling motherhood, college and sometimes work, you cannot help it.
You find yourself staying up late, sometimes pulling all-nighters, because you have to wait until your children are sleeping to study. Other times, you have to find a baby sitter just to get homework done.
Being a mother and a college student, your ultimate goal is to graduate and make a decent living and to be able to provide for your family. As you engage in that struggle, don’t let multi-tasking get the best of you. Keep your goals in mind and don’t give up. It will all be worth it in the long-run.
