Tired of paying ridiculous prices for child care or rushing to get to class on time because of the location of your off campus child care? Here is some good news. Child care is available right here.
The cost for the service depends on the hours needed. It ranges from $4-5 and hour. Ten hours or more is $4 an hour, six-nine hours is $4.25 an hour, three-five hours is $4.50 an hour and less than three hours is $5 an hour. The only other cost is a $25 registration fee.
It is a YMCA program partly funded by our college. It is opened fall, winter, and spring quarters.
The center opens at 7:45 a.m. Closing times vary by quarter, but it does not stay open later than 5;00 p.m.
Children enrolled are divided into two age groups. There is the toddler group with ages ranging from 18 months to three years and there is the pre-school group with ages ranging from three to five years.
The facility has two class rooms, a play room called the muscle room, and an outside play area. A snack and juice are provided but children are required to bring their own lunch.
