According to the same story, Frese previously worked as the veterans/military advisor at the UC Uptown Campus. Prior to that he served 21 years in the US Army.

Witherspoon has worked in higher education and student affairs since 2004 and has over five years of multicultural affairs planning and training experience.
Within her work, Witherspoon has also created a new program for UCBA students called the Diversity Scholars Program or DSP. Through this program, UCBA students can receive support for academic, social and personal endeavors as well as partake in workshops and special events.
