On Saturday, December 7, the Metro Theater Company brings “The Short Tree and the Bird That Could Not Sing” to RWC’s ARTrageous Saturdays. The story of an unlikely friendship that develops between a lonely tree and a bird who loves to sing-whether he is good or not-is for young children who, like the little tree, sometimes feel too small for the big world.
Said to be full of humor and surprises, “The Short Tree and the Bird That Could Not Sing” illustrates the importance of friendship.
