On Wednesday, November 13, at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Flory Center, RWC will celebrate its third annual cultural awareness charity event, sponsored by Collegiate Ministries, Student Life, Student Government, and the Cultural Awareness Coalition.Collegiate Ministries will sponsor at this event a peanut butter and jelly sandwich drive, the proceeds from which will go to a local soup kitchen to feed the needy. The cost is $1. Each dollar given will go to Collegiate Ministries to pay for the cost of the sandwiches and future charitable events.
The Cultural Awareness Coalition will have a nacho-taco salad bar set up for to those who paid the dollar fee and Student Government will have soda pop for sale at 50 cents per can. There will also be a contemporary singing group known as E.P. and other surprising attractions for RWC students.
