In the midst of trying times, it is good to know that people are still striving to make a difference in the lives of others. RWC seeks to do no less.Every year RWC, in conjunction with the Student Life Office, sponsors the annual “Make A Difference Day” project.
For this year’s event, RWC has partnered with Success Inc., a non-profit organization to host a clothing drive.
The purpose of this event is to provide people in the Over The Rhine Drop-In Center with business, casual, and professional attire, as many receive interview skills and other skills needed to successfully re-enter the work force. The clothing that the students of RWC donate will go out to those who need someone to make a difference in their lives.
The project is in need of coats, suits, jeans, shoes, shirts, belts, ties, dresses and socks.
If you would like to donate items, you can drop off donations in the Science and Allied Health Building or in the Student Life Office in the Flory Center. There will be barrels placed in the lobbies of each building to receive your donations.
The “Make A Difference Day” project will begin October 21 through November 4.
