Dear RWC Activist,I enjoyed the article done on former RWC Activist staff Othello Gooden Jr. I commend Ms. Anderson on highlighting both novels and the song entitled “Cannon-1 (Taizosu)” now available on Amazon via mp3. Yet, I felt the article sent the wrong message to the general public about my work.
In consideration to the villain of my children’s novel “Erica the Talking Calico Cat,” Ms. Tunnelsworth, there is a typo in her surname (I spelled her name correctly in my mentioning). Second, Ms. Tunnelsworth’s plan is to capture Erica and her alley cat friends and send them to the local Pound (formally known as the SPCA). In the article, it mentions she sends the captured cats to the School for Creative and Performing Arts (AKA: SCPA). The two places can be confusing yet I do not want the general public to get the misconception that Ms. Tunnelsworth is a “good-two shoes” in capturing felines and sending them to a school of the arts.
The last point is concerning Cannon-1 (Taizosu). Though it is related to my novel, it is a solo album featuring the 2002 Original mix and 2009 “Slower” remix. Both are available now on Amazon via mp3. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings.
Respectfully,
Othello Gooden Jr.
