Raymond Walters College held the Student Awards Ceremony on May 15 at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the ceremony RWC student government, Sheila, Dave and the maintenance crew all helped set up for the ceremony. Tony Hall, RWC student government President, was the Master of Ceremonies. Also, Interim Dean of RWC Dean O’Meara was closing the ceremony for refreshments.
The Awards for Outstanding Service:
The recipients for the Student Involvement Awards were: Jennifer Benge, Gary Reckelhoff, Abby Brown, Jason Ridder, Alicia Brown, Anthony Rowe, Loren Bonifas, Sandy Jo Thompson, Kati Ellison, Joseph Tipton, Tony Hall, Tammara Wynn, David Itescu, Jake Youngstrom.
The recipient for the Media Production was Chris Gantzer.
The Media Support recipient was David Herzog.
Christen Ayers, Daniel Reiber and Trisha Sparks all received the
Outstanding Service Awards for the Radiologic Technology Program.
The Student Government Awards:
Kati Ellison received Student Government Member of the Year award.
Outstanding Student of the Year Nominees were Daniel Carper and Thomas Hall.
Nick Brehm was named the Outstanding Student of the Year Award.
The students who received “Who’s Who Among Students in America Junior Colleges” were Christopher Gantzer, Elizabeth Klein and Joseph Tipton.

Excellence in Emergency Medical Services Technology awards were received by Jack Shields, Casey Ballman, Matt Bryant, Audrey Broughal, Beau Taylor and Emily Wood.
Clinical Excellence in Radiologic Technology were given to Daniel Reiber and Christen Ayers.
Rachel Lind is the graduating student with the highest cumulative GPA and received and award for Academic Excellence in Radiologic Technology.
Annette Prues is the graduating student with the highest grades in the Radiologic Technology courses and also received and award in Academic Excellence in Radiologic Technology.
Melissa Paulus received and award for Academic Excellence in Radiation Science Technology. She is a Baccalaureate degree graduating student with the highest cumulative GPA.
Art and Visual Communication:
Christopher Gajus is the Oustanding Communication Design Associate Degree Graduate.
Joseph Tipton is the Outstanding Communication Design Professional Certificate Graduate.
Behavioral Science:
Catherine Harpen is the Criminal Justice Student of the Year.
