2003 last year for Dean

On February 7, Dean Barbara Bardes announced that she would not seek another term at RWC after 2003. The official announcement read as follows:To the RWC Faculty, Staff and Students,

Provost Perzigian has offered, and I have declined, the opportunity for decanal review this year. This means, of course, that I will complete my term as dean of the college in 2003 at the end of this five year term. My intention is to return to the highly satisfying and peaceful role of teacher and scholar. When I accepted the position as dean in 1993, I did so because I believed that the college had great potential for growth and revitalization. Every one of my expectations has been exceeded due to the effort and dedication of Raymond Walters College faculty, staff, and students. I thank you for the opportunity to be part of this community.
