The RWC Department of Allied Health has announced the addition of a new employee to the department, Paula Lawson, RT(R), who began work on January 2 as the full-time Clinical Associate with the Radiologic Technology Program here at RWC. Lawson will work directly with the Clinical Coordinator, Sharon Keegan, RT(R). Her main responsibilities as Clinical Associate will be to visit the students at the clinical sites throughout Cincinnati and work with them in the radiology departments. In addition to her clinical duties, Lawson will be assisting various faculty members with patient care, radiologic patient positioning, and coordinating science and imaging laboratories on the RWC campus.
Lawson is a 1996 graduate of Xavier University’s Radiography Program and comes to RWC directly from The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. While there she served for two years as a clinical advisor to the RWC Radiologic Technology Program.
She currently lives in the Cincinnati area with her husband and three sons.
