This has been a historic season for Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and the rest of the Miami Heat roster. With the best record in the NBA, they have been getting win after win in dramatic fashion.
At the time of this writing, the Heat stand 56-14, which is on pace to be one of the best overall winning records in NBA history. They are also on a 27-game winning streak, which began just after the All-Star break, and they have not looked back since.
The Heat have become a dominant force in the league. Lebron has been leading this team to new heights and to historic records. Another thing that has helped the streak is that his supporting cast has been playing very well.
The Heat are a team ready to become champions once again, and the streak that they are on is a stepping stone to getting there. If the Heat win the NBA championship this year, they will be the first team to win back to back titles since the Los Angeles Lakers did it a few years back.
I believe that the Miami Heat will break the 33-game winning streak record set by the 1971-1972 Lakers, who went on to win the NBA championship. Lebron, Dwayne, and Chris have a great chance of repeating for another title.
They still have a long way to go and still have some stiff competition in their conference, but another championship will be a great accomplishment.
