UC Teams With Lynda.com for Free Software Training for Students, Faculty and Staff

It’s official. UC has teamed up with Lynda.com, an online software training library site, to offer students, faculty, and staff free online training in Blackboard, design aesthetics, and software, including Adobe Creative Suite 6 and Microsoft Office 2013.
To access Lynda UC, all you have to do is visit www.uc.edu/lynda and sign in with your UC Central Login credentials.
This is a great resource for students who study Electronic Media, Graphic Design Communications and Information Technology. With Lynda UC, students are able to queue up individual videos as well as full courses organized by course instructors. In other words, you are able to watch as much as you want or nothing at all.
The University has signed a two-year agreement with Lynda, so it is guaranteed that the service will be around next academic term. According to the UCBA Information Technology Department, the agreement is fairly inexpensive to maintain, and it is likely that UC and Lynda will continue their partnership.
Lynda.com also has a mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
