Flash Drives Most Common Item in Lost and Found

Most people know there is a Lost and Found here at RWC. However, according to Police Officer Jeff Polly, it doesn’t seem that people know where it is, or just don’t think lost things actually end up there.Officer Polly says that the most common things turned in at the Lost and Found are flash drives. There are also things like calculators, wallets, keys, textbooks, and jackets turned in.

Polly says that the flash drives are of great importance though, because the Lost and Found only holds them for ninety days. Then the drives are shipped to Clifton, where they are soon destroyed.

The problem with losing a flash drive is that Officer Polly is unable to see whose it is because UC Police do not inspect the contents of the flash drives.

Basically, if you lose your flash drive, check out the Lost and Found in Muntz 154. There is a good chance it will be there.
