Information meeting set for UC Honors program

An informational meeting for students interested in learning about the UC Honors Scholars Program will be held on Thursday, December 1, at 1 p.m. in Room 111, Muntz Hall. Professor Marlene Miner, RWC Representative to the UC Honors Council, said that, currently, RWC has 35 students in the UC Honors Scholars program, all of whom are earning Honors credits while at this college. According to Professor Miner, others have begun their honors work at RWC and have transferred to a baccalaureate college.

All UC students with a 3.2 GPA or higher who have earned at least 12 credit hours are eligible to apply to the program. To apply, students need to complete an application online and get one letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
