Zurad to Retire After 29 Years at UC

Kathy Zurad, who has been with the University of Cincinnati for 29 years and five months, has decided to retire. She first came to UC on October 20, 1980, working for the Division of Nephrology at the College Medicine. Then in 1988 she was an Account Clerk for the RWC Library.

In 1996 she accepted a position at the College of Arts and Sciences, as an office Manager. Zurad returned to RWC in January of 2000 as an Executive Staff Assistant.

“We are looking into moving to South Carolina around Hilton Head or Sunset Beach in North Carolina,” she said.

With her two grandchildren and her dad, she plans to take time out for her family as well as herself. “I want to travel,” she explained. We wish her the best of luck.
