Since November 1, students, faculty, and staff members have made some last minute donations to the “A Case for Hunger” challenge. At this paper’s last publication date, November 14, there were 228 cases with an approximate value of $885 donated to the FreeStore FoodBank (FSFB).According to Helen Kegler with Multi Cultural Affairs, the totals now stand at $1210.98, which allows for the purchase of 244 cases of non-perishable food.
Leading the challenge were the Dean’s Office, which donated twenty-four cases, and Professor Grace Auyang’s War and Peace class, which donated twenty-three cases.
Both groups were treated to a pizza party. Again, Helen Kegler expressed her thanks to all for their support.
