SAC plans Valentine’s Day Blood Drive

Here’s a little information from your friends on the Student Activities Committee. February 14 is a busy day for everybody, and if you don’t already have plans, then you are probably in for some trouble (unless your girlfriend is more understanding than mine). The Student Activities Committee has a foolproof excuse for you to use.

They have teamed up with the Hoxworth people for a Valentine’s Day blood drive, and if giving blood isn’t a good excuse, then I don’t know what is.

It will be held in the Science and Allied Health Building Room 100 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They do take appointments, but walk-ins are, of course, welcome.

If that isn’t enough to get you out of the doghouse for forgetting Valentine’s Day, the SAC is also sponsoring their annual flower and candy sale. The prices and times for this event have not been established yet, but they will be by the time the next issue hits the newsstands. So, if you’re like me and Valentine’s Day sneaks up on you year after year, the people at SAC have got you covered. Flowers, candy, giving blood–how can she be mad at you after all that?
