The RWC Medical Assisting Services program hosted the January 14, 2003 meeting of the Southwest Ohio Certified Medical Assistant’s organization. Members of the area chapter attended a seminar given by Professor Barbara Tietsort, of the Office Information Department, on Dragon, Naturally Speaking 6.0 Voice Recognition Software.
The SWOCMA regular monthly meeting was held following the presentation. The SWOCMA annual winter CEU seminar session was discussed. It will be held at the Eastgate Holiday Inn on Sunday, February 2, 2003, 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., and all members are encouraged to attend.
The members toured the Medical Assisting classrooms and plan to return for more meetings hosted at RWC in the future.
