At the beginning of Autumn Quarter Mary Stagaman, Director of RWC College Relations, announced several staff changes in the College Relations Office. These changes include both new faces and promotions. Stagaman said the College Relations staff is excited and optimistic about a new school year.
Debbie Miller has been promoted from Community Relations Coordinator to Community Relations Manager. Debbie manages RWC relationships with outside users of college facilities, including Ethicon Endo-Surgery, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and PC Users Group. She also works on special events such as teacher workshops and awards ceremonies.
Kelly Murphy Lucyszyn is now a full-time UC employee and has been named Editorial Manager. Kelly has primary responsibility for many RWC publications. She has been awarded a national Paragon Award for her work on the Student Handbook, and a regional Medallion Award for the RWC class schedule. Throughout the year Kelly will work on media relations and provide content for the redesigned RWC website.
Eric Jeschke and Eric Falstrom, graphics interns from the RWC Communication Design program, are new to the staff. Eric Jeschke spent the summer designing the new website, and Eric Falstrom has produced posters for the Summer British Study Abroad Program. Becky Dixon, last year’s intern, has been awarded a Medallion Award for her poster promoting Elise Goodman’s book signing for The Femme Savant.
Elizabeth Norment is the 2000-2001 cultural programs coordinator. Elizabeth is a second-year graduate student in CCM’s Arts Administration/MBA program with a 4.0 average. She will manage all aspects of the Concerts at RWC and the ARTrageous Saturdays programs.
Taunee Bruenton is a new student helper working with Gwen Dean at the information center at Muntz hall. Students Velma Thomas-Parker and Alison Mulholland are returning for a second year.
