Faculty and Staff Awards Announced

UCBA Dean Cady Short-Thompson last week announced this year’s recipients of the distinguished faculty and staff awards.
“We received a number of outstanding nominees and the selection was challenging,” the Dean said. Honorees are as follows:
Outstanding Faculty Service Award: Debbie Page, Department of Foreign Languages.
Exemplary Scholarship Award: Cenalo Vaz, Department of Math, Physics, and Computer Science.
Innovative Teaching Award: Sonja Andrus, Ruth Benander, Bob Murdock, Kevin Oberlin, and Brenda Refaei, Department of English and Communications.
Distinguished Teaching Award: Rhonda Pettit, Department of English and Communications.
Honored Adjunct Teaching Award: Daphne Percy, Behavioral Science Department.
Staff Distinguished Service Award: Dale Hofstetter, Information Technology.
