Professor Barbara Hansen, of the RWC English Department, will be teaching a course on Mastering Sentence Skills during Winter Quarter. Professor Hansen said this course is for students who are having problems with basic proofreading skills and want a grammar review, or for working employees who need to revise their writing skills.
According to Professor Hansen, the course comes highly recommended by former students.
One student described it as “a wonderful course and I learned a lot of important skills.”
“I feel that this course has really helped me in my other classes,” another said.
According to Professor Hansen, many students who took the course in the past felt it should be a mandatory class before taking Preparatory English.
The course number is 28-English-150-001. It will be held at 10 a.m. on MWF.
