Student Government seeking students

Not everyone is fully aware that we at RWC have a Student Government. We hear about their holding bake sales and recommending that students who have any questions to contact them, but the question is how? Many students are even wondering how they can get involved with Student Government. Afshin Taleghani, the President of RWC Student Government, says that they are now seeking individuals to be members for the remainder of the year and next year also.

“I feel it is a wonderful, rewarding way to get involved on campus,” Taleghani said. “The difference that you make, and the things that you learn when you get involved on campus are invaluable. Also, you get to inform the student body on all the major decisions that are being made on our campus as well as Clifton.”

Students who wish to be part of Student Government can pick up an application outside the Library in Muntz Hall or in the Student Government Office in the Flory Center. Students wishing to apply must be in good academic standing with a 2.0 grade point average or higher, and be able to get at least 20 signature petitions.

For information on how to determine your grade point average, go to www.rwc.uc.edu/current/getting_grades.htm.
