October 14-20 is National Veterinary Technician Week, designed to celebrate veterinary technicians and to support members, state associations, specialties and student chapters.
The executive board of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America is celebrating the 20th year for the NVTW, and also celebrating the commitment veterinary technicians dedicate to their profession.
Activities during the week serve the fundamental goals of educating the public about vet techs and what they do and reinforcing the value and professionalism of vet techs.
The activities also provide vet techs with experience to encourage team building and a good work ethic, with the goal of improving the quality of relationships between veterinarians and other vet professionals.
