The Tao of Photography exhibit, which began Monday, October 27, continues through December 5 in the UC Blue Ash Art Gallery, located in the Annex building on the corner of Cooper and Plainfield roads.

The exhibit features more than 140 student photos that use Taoist philosophy and principles.

Taoism originated in China and emphasizes harmony and peace with the Tao, or your life path.

The photos in the exhibit are all student works and are the collective result of seven “Tao of Photography” seminars which took place at UCBA from 2002 to 2014 and were conducted by Michael Sanders, an Electronic Media professor.

Along with the exhibit, there will be free events going on for attendees, including faculty and student panels (November 12 and 19 respectively), as well as a presentation from Sanders, the event curator, on November 5.

The exhibit is open to view Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all special events will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
