Conquering test anxiety, mastering time management, reading between the lines, taking accurate notes-these are all great strategies to learn early in college and the RWC Study Skills Lab can help. The Study Skills Lab is a free reading center, which offers workshops for mental blocks above, as well as others to help improve studying and test taking abilities.
Tutoring is also offered for any subject that does not already have a lab, including Psychology, Sociology, History, Business, and Public Speaking. Each student gets one-on-one time to master any study skill.
The Study Skills Lab is located in the back of the Muntz Hall Computer Concourse in Room 112K, next to the Writing Center. Appointments are preferred, since each workshop is fifty minutes long. You can walk in to schedule an appointment or call (513) 745-5730.
The Lab Manager is Maria Damen. The Lab Assistant is Della Clomar, and the four academic tutors are Ginette Adams, Sharon Discher, Carol Gorley, and Kim Mason.
