A seminar on Career Opportunities in the Investigative Field will be held April 30, at the Kings Island Inn and Conference Centers, 5691 Kings Island Drive, Kings Island, Ohio.The seminar will offer information on how to obtain employment in the fields of

-Private Investigator
-Executive Protection Agent
-Body Guard
-Investigative Reporter
Lecture subjects will include criteria and prerequisites for an investigative career, such as educational requirements, work experience, age requirements, health requirement/restrictions, differing state eligibility requirement, various state and local licensing laws, state requirements for registered employees, any prior law enforcement required, application fees, how to pursue job related training, how you can own and operate your own agency, income potential, scope and frequency of travel, and a question and answer segment.
Insurance investigators work with workers compensation fraud, automobile insurance fraud, life and accident insurance, and embezzlement, burglary and theft. This line of work primarily focuses on white collar crime.
Private Investigators may be called upon to take cases such as complete background searches, questionable deaths and homicide, domestic, insurance fraud, electronic surveillance, undercover operations, suspicious activities, missing persons, and more.
Rich Mcdunough, who will lead the seminar, is a 30-year old veteran detective. After military service at age 21, he worked as a bail bond recovery agent, AKA “bounty hunter.” He encountered life threatening situations and physical threats and still moved forward into the private detective field.
The cost of the seminar is $129 per person per time selection or $99 per person per time selection for groups of two or more.
Lecture times are Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Saturday April 30, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
