On May 25, 2010, ten non-traditional RWC students were inducted into the Sigma Beta Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Alpha Sigma Lambda’s mission is to acknowledge non-traditional students who show outstanding academic work and who show responsibility and leadership.Non-traditional students are most likely over the age of 25 years old, work at a part-time job, and are parents. These students represent the top 25 percent of Raymond Walters’ 2010 non-traditional student population. To be eligible for the Honor Society, they also must have completed 36 quarter hours and have accumulated a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Most importantly Honor Society recognizes these students for their high scholastic achievements and campus and community leadership.
