Dental Hygiene Clinic Provides Affordable Services

October is National Dental Hygiene month, and UCBA is celebrating.  On October 7 from 1-2 p.m. and October 8 from 12:15-1:15 p.m., you can receive dental information and get your blood pressure taken for free.

And on October 24 from 10-11 a.m. and 12-1 p.m. you can go to an Open House in Dental Hygiene and experience UC Smiles in action.  You can take a tour of the clinic and visit the workshops.  Everyone who participates will receive a dental goodie bag.

The UCBA Dental Hygiene Program gives students the hands on experience they need to advance in their field.  They are particularly looking for new patients who haven’t had their teeth cleaned in several years, children aged 3-15, patients with braces, and patients with dentures.

All services are performed by UCBA students, but don’t be nervous.  Each Dental Hygiene student is supervised by a registered dental hygienist and dentist.  For clinic services and fees, visit the Dental Hygiene Clinic in Walters Hall.
