In January 2015 we welcomed Ms. Lindsey Ovadia to UC Blue Ash as a Program Manager. She may be new to UCBA, but she is not new to UC. She has been at UC for over ten years. Ovadia went to UC for college, where she worked as a student worker before graduation, at which time she was hired by UC.
Ovadia grew up in Shandon, Ohio and went to William Henry Harrison High School. When she graduated in 2003 she was voted the “Most Artistic,” as she was in graphic design. From there, she got into DAAP to continue doing graphic design. However, after about two years she decided that a more well rounded liberal arts education would serve her better. She changed her major from graphic design to communications at the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. In the summer of 2005 she was hired at the UC in Clifton in the Exploratory Science office as a student worker.
By the fall of 2005 Ovadia moved to the Arts and Sciences Office of Development. She graduated in 2007 as Phi Beta Kappa, and the Arts and Sciences Office hired her full-time as a development coordinator. She was then later promoted to assistant director of development. In 2011 she made the decision to move to the academic side and support as a program coordinator for the Arts and Sciences departments of communications and philosophy. Later she added a few other departments including geography, anthropology, and journalism. Ovadia spent about ten years at the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences and is more than thrilled to be here at UC Blue Ash to continue her UC career.
