The Advanced Spanish Composition and Conversation class at RWC is hosting two guest speakers during the autumn quarter. All students and faculty with an interest and comprehension of spoken Spanish are invited to attend. The first of the two, held on Monday, October 15, featured Dr. Carlos Gutierrez, Assistant Professor of Spanish Literature at UC’s Clifton Campus. His speech examined all aspects of flamenco, a Spanish style of dance or music.
The second speaker, Dr. Armando Romero, will discuss Latin American literature on Monday, October 29, from 6:20 p.m. until 9 p.m. This event is scheduled to take place in Muntz Hall, Room 244. Space is limited.
