MGMT 5 out 5

For this issue of Music review I chose the group MGMT. I chose to do a review on two of their singles that I have been hearing nonstop, “Electric Feel and Time to Pretend.” The band created by two Wesleyan university students. MGMT music is an aurora of guitars and drums to electronic and synthesizers. The song Electric Feel will make you blast your radio up and make you want drive to the beat. Electric Feel is a overall addicting song with a combination of trippy beats and artistic creativity throughout the song even towards the conclusion of the song. The next song Time to Pretend I have heard several times also since this was their first single to hit high on the charts they have huge success with their psychedelic music. These two songs have introduced me into a new world of music. The group has just put out a recent album in 2007 called Oracular Spectacular. MGMT is currently working on a new album but there is no defiant date but is rumored to be a double album. This group has also been touring extensively with Beck and many other musicians. You have to check this group out they are defiantly worth the ticket. These two singles are just a glimpse of the groups talent and ability, this group is only going to get better.
