The RWC Career Services Office would like to assist you in your job search. They want to encourage you to check the full-time and part-time job listings that are posted and updated daily. More than 18,000 jobs are posted with Career Services each year. To further assist you in your search, information about various occupations and corporate literature is available in the Career Resource Library and can be used in the Office.
The Office also provides copies of a job search handbook. It details information on resume writing, interview preparation and cover letter development. If you would like more individualized assistance with your job search, such as mock interviews or resume critiquing, schedule an appointment with them in their office, Room 151.
Complete the “Work Interest Inventory,” so that they will know your job preferences and where and when they can reach you, should the need arise. Attach a current resume to the Work Interest Inventory. It would be helpful for you to meet with the placement officer to discuss your career goals to strategize about your job search.
You can also register on the web-site www.rwc.uc.edu/careerseek. This free service enables you to search employer job postings. In addition, you can post your resume so employers can contact you regarding available opportunities.
