Summer has come to a close, and the stress from school has begun for many of us, and that’s good because you’re in luck. If you’re looking to unwind from the stresses from school come feel the rhythm–the Rhythm ‘n Blue Ash. RWC will be holding a concert series for the 2008-2009 school year, with music that promises to appeal to any audience of all ages.
What kind of music, you ask? There will be bluegrass, jazz, and instrumental music from a variety of artists.
The first artist, Andy Brown, performed on October 11, but don’t worry. There are three more artists scheduled to display their talents here in the coming months. On November 22, the Grammy nominated group The Greencards will put on a bluegrass show. The group of three will be visiting Cincinnati for the first time.
If you’re a fan of jazz, on January 24, the Kim Pensyl group will be here. This group has made it on the Billboard Top 20 twice, for Contemporary Jazz artists of the year.
Finally, Harry Pickens and his group will perform on Valentine’s Day. The group will be accepting personal love stories from the audience and creating a playlist according to the stories.
All concerts will be held in the Muntz Hall auditorium. Parking is free. Tickets are $10 in advance $15 at the door. For more information or ticket purchase call (513) 745-5705 or email .
