Remember how nervous you were your first year of college? Remember how you met new people interested in the same field as you in your orientation class? I remember my freshman orientation, and I still apply the study techniques that I learned from my orientation leader. Thanks to Student Life, I have the opportunity to help incoming RWC students the same way my orientation leader helped me. I am one of sixteen people currently being trained to be an orientation leader.
Training was fun! We discussed the purpose of orientation and our orientation experiences.
Mrs. Yates-Mattingly made training even more fun by showing us several different ice breakers, including playing Pictionary with Play-Do, and she also fed us dinner. Because of the fun I had and the wonderful new people I met, I am really looking forward to becoming an orientation leader.
