All humans who enter this world, no matter how they got here, I believe, have the right to live the life they are given. In our society, however, authoritative figures have decided it is their right to choose who gets a chance at life, and who is left for dead. The opinions that have been formed and put into action are those of the perverse and senseless parties of our country. To save the sick minded criminal and give him food to eat, a place to sleep, and shelter from any harsh elements of nature is the standard of this nation. But our society is denying the right to life of an unborn helpless baby.
I truly believe that America, as a whole, has fallen as far away as possible from the standard of living that was originally set. That standard our country was founded on, that said every life is valuable, and no one should be denied the rights that are automatically theirs: the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
On October 11, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave a speech on defending every innocent life, no matter how vulnerable or helpless.
“I believe the truest measure of any society is how it treats those who are least able to defend and speak for themselves,” she said.
So what does that say for our society? We are saving the whales, trees, and environment, but putting to death innocent children that cannot so much as speak for themselves.
Barack Obama has made it clear that he is for any form of abortion and has voted against the right to life, even for a child who survived an intended abortion.
I do not think anyone, no matter their race or disability, should be left to lie alone and die. When a young woman aborts a baby, she is disconnecting any possibility for that innocent life to ever have a chance to become something in this world.
America, in my opinion, has turned from “One Nation under God” to “One Nation, out of control.”
My only fear is what the future holds and what else will be acceptable, that is obviously perverse. I believe pro-abortion is a ridiculous account of how our country views right and wrong, and those who judge the right to life now, will, in turn, be judged to the highest degree.
