Costa Rica Study Abroad Trip Begins June 12

The RWC Costa Rica study abroad students will leave Cincinnati on June 12 and will return on June 26. There are 11 students who will be attending this trip, which will have a base at Heredia, Costa Rica. The students will each live with a Costa Rican family during their stay. Students who will be participating are Daniel Betz, Daniel Chapman, Jesse Crook, Jessica Doench, Stephanie Nagel, Stephanie Pandorf, Stefani Sifri, Joey Stalf, Sareha Sulesky, David Sykes, and Jamie Tsiominas.

During their trip, the students will take language classes for four hours a day. In the afternoons, they will be taking cultural classes in which they will be learning about dancing as well as cooking.

Also during the afternoons, they will go on local excursions. They have two weekend excursions planned where they will be going to two different national parks: Monteverde (which is a cloud forest) and Manuel Antonio (which is a park that is located on the Pacific Coast).
