The Market Is Coming to RWC

RWC will celebrate the Grand Opening of “The Market” on Thursday, May 26. The College is expecting at least 15 vendors on the Blue Ash Campus, including Lobenstein Farm, Breezy Acres Farm, B & D Goats, A Forkable Feast, Skirtz and Johnston Fine Pastries and Chocolates, Taste of Belgium, Adopt-a-Plant, Pet Wants North, Larel Grant and Mt. Kofinas Olive Oil, local honey, coffee, “kettle korn,” and fresh flowers. There will be certified organic autumn produce, salad mix, herbs, carrots, microgreens, apples, cider, homemade pasta, gluten free items, gourmet mushrooms, cheese, chicken and duck eggs, beef, pork, vegetables, and fruit. It will be a plethora of food choices. Something new each month will be showcased, ranging from guest speakers on cooking tips and using fresh produce to learning about the farmers and their farms as the season progresses.

There will be cooking demonstrations, special food vendors for evening students and the community, short talks about the farms and invitations to visit these farms during the season.

Each Thursday, “The Market” will be open from 3-7 p.m., rain or shine, and this will last until October. Bring new produce home to friends and family or get dinner before class.
