The UC Blue Ash Foreign Language Department has new faculty members, as well as some familiar faces with new positions.
Sheri Barksdale and Brian Hunter are the two new professors who have spent some time at UCBA already. Barksdale has spent several years teaching part-time and now is in a full-time position as an instructor of American Sign Language. Hunter is now an annually appointed adjunct instructor of Spanish.
In addition to the returning professors, there are several new adjunct professors. Noemie Breteil and Alix Pitra are new French instructors. Anna Rohrig is new in the German section, and Olga Suravneva is new to the Russian section. And returning as an adjunct instructor of Spanish after a few years off is Katie de Alarcon.
Also if you’re struggling in Russian or French, there are two new tutors who work on a walk-in basis. Michael Merritt, who tutors Russian, and Amanda Tosun, who tutors French, have their hours posted in the Language Lab, located in Muntz 350.
