The RWC Office of Outreach and Continuing Education has announced a new summer course, American Health Policy, an elective which will cover the history of health care delivery in the United States and the relationship of the public and private sector in organizing health care delivery. In addition, students will learn the role of the government in developing health care policies, compared to other industrialized countries’ health care systems.
This summer course qualifies as an RN/BSN, BSN and accelerated MSN requirement and is a Health Promotion Free Elective. There are no prerequisites.
The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 18-July 24, 5-8 p.m. It is a 3-credit course.
