Worldfest 2001 May 4-11

UC’s Worldfest 2001, an event that celebrates diversity throughout all of UC’s campuses, will be held May 4- 11.The RWC Worldfest is held in conjunction with the Clifton Campus with a vast array of activities to entice the interests of everyone. The festivities begin May 4 with the annual “Faces of RWC” display. Also during the week there will be cultural music, a “Show Us Your Roots” world map, and an evening semi-formal dance for students.

Other events will include a moving world flag procession, a culture-challenge game, a reception, a culturelogue, foreign language travelogues, a host of booths and performances featuring a variety of food, entertainment, and cultural items, sports freeplay, and a grand finale that will include live band music and a courtyard cookout. Student and faculty participation is welcomed.
