Self-tying Sneakers Are Exclusive

Would you get them if you were lucky enough to have the chance?

So, as we come coming towards the end of 2015 there are a lot of things that are to be expected: holidays are coming up. New albums: Adele’s "25", Rihanna's "Anti", and Justin Bieber's “purpose" come to mind.  And there are sports events. But one thing that sort of just popped up was the fact that October 21 of this year was the year that Marty Mcfly went back to the future in "Back To The Future 2.” It might sound a little corny, but I for one was very excited about this because now we're able to look back upon the things that we thought we would have today and reflect.

ABC reported that the first pair was sent to Michael J. Fox http://abcnews.go.com/Business/nike-back-future-tying-shoes/story?id=34624788

The arrival of the shoes was October 21, and has really made a buzz with sneaker heads globally. The shoes have power laces (laces that lace themselves) just like the ones in the movie, and they glow in the dark. Now, I'm sure you're wondering how they work. Well, there are two buttons on the shoe, the green to tighten and the red to loosen and the shoe automatically senses how much weight you put on it in order to adjust tightening. Pretty cool right? The first pair of shoes were delivered to Michael J. Fox (Marty Mcfly) which was only right of course.

Now here's the flip side. The first shoe was released this year but there will not be any more released until next year. To top it off, they will be a limited addition launch and only available via auction. Not to mention they will be ridiculously expensive and most of us will not be able to afford them. But the proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's research.

So, I personally am over the shoe. The fact that I can't purchase the shoe actually doesn’t upset me that much just because they aren't really my style anyway, but I do think they're dope. Not to mention that they're are tons of other shoes that I want but can't afford or come in contact with. But, I do think the fact that they're extremely difficult to obtain makes them even more special. Now the question that I have for everyone who is reading is, would you get the shoes if you had the opportunity?
