It Was a UCBA Homecoming Too

By Shawna Taylor

The University of Cincinnati's Homecoming took place on Saturday, October 19, and UCBA was represented in multiple areas of this year's festivities.
For the first time in college history, a UCBA student was on the Homecoming Court. The college was also represented with a float (shown above) in the parade down Clifton Avenue for the second time.
Kara Sunday, UCBA's current Student Government President, was elected as one of the court's finalists, which included five female and five male candidates.
Students Mandee Logsdon, Mackenzie Newman, Phil Turner, Priscilla Turner and Andrea Waddell walked in the parade alongside a float that they built themselves, which featured the UC mascot "blowing down the house" of the opponent, UConn.
The week of festivities ended with the UC Bearcats defeating the UConn Huskies, 41-16.
