Great Britain and France study abroad students hold "Bon Voyage Potluck"
Group makes final decisions before departure
Following much anticipation throughout this school year, the time for students participating in the 2012 Great Britain Study Abroad Program to make final preparations has arrived.
With little time remaining before their June 10 departure, the group held their last mandatory meeting on Sunday, June 2 - a "bon voyage lunch" to make last-minute plans and answer any remaining questions.
From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., students talked about their upcoming trip while enjoying the wide variety of snacks and drinks brought in to share. Students were also able to bring their parents or another immediate family member to the meeting.
Any questions were directed to group leaders Drs. Sue Sipple and Eric Anderson.
The potluck was an excellent opportunity for the group to continue to get to know one another before leaving for Great Britain and France.
With just a few days standing between study abroad students and their much-awaited trip, the group is currently continuing to focus on any last-minute preparations.
