College to Offer Psychological Counseling Service Soon

By Jasper Harmon
On October 21, 2013

UCBA is in the final stages of arranging to hire a licensed psychological counselor to serve students here, according to Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs Greg Metz.
The counselor will begin working 20 hours per week on campus, Metz said, with the possibility of increased hours if demand warrants it.
Because college can be stressful and students manage a lot of challenging responsibilities in addition to the rigor of academics, Metz said the service will be a welcome resource for students' overall health and well-being.
More information about the counselor, office location, hours and how to schedule an appointment will be disseminated as soon as the final details are available. For more information, contact the Academic Affairs Office in Muntz Hall, Room 125 or call (513) 745-5660.
