TV: Iyanla Fixes Lives

If you haven’t heard of the show “Iyanla Fix My Life,” you should definitely watch it.

Iyanla Vanzant is an inspirational speaker, author and a TV personality.  Her show on the OWN network has been growing ever since it first aired.  But the one episode everyone has been talking about is the guy named Jay, with 34 children that he fathered with 17 different women.

This episode touched many people and became a real topic to talk about.  One of the things that everyone didn’t expect him to say was why this man did not get a vasectomy.  And why did he not use protection after about the 10th child?

But when Iyanla confronts Jay about these questions, he responds with “I don’t have a problem with what I created.”

To Jay and to many men, it’s just a fling, nothing serious.  But it is really serious.  One person cannot take care of that many children by himself.
