Student Life Office Now Hiring Student Orientation Leaders
The UCBA Office of Student Life is currently in the process of hiring the 2015 Student Orientation Leaders (SOLs), Di- rector Marcus Langford announced this week.
Langford said that SOLs represent the UCBA student body for incoming stu- dents and their families during Orienta- tion and Convocation. They will welcome, greet, and mingle with new students and provide guidance and support through- out orientation and convocation.
Orientation Leaders will facilitate small group discussions and lead campus tours, they will assist with advising and registration, and they will serve as liaisons between the faculty, staff, and new stu- dents, he explained.
Student Ambassadors are hired di- rectly from the SOL staff, so students wanting to be an Ambassador must serve as an SOL.
