How Could You Be Mad at Our President?
Unemployment is down; gas prices are down; all is right in the country. With that being said, there will always be a large group of citizens who just dislike President Obama.
Granted, I fully understand that it’s hard to be a fan of a politician in this country, but the man responsible for us being able to afford to fill up our gas tanks again deserves some praise. For quite some time, gas was so high we were going to have to start selling plasma to afford it.
The efforts by the Tea Party and the Republicans to discredit Obama go far beyond politics sometimes. They’ve even stooped as low as making comments about his wife and daughter’s clothing choices. There just isn’t a place for that. One would think we all aren’t on the same side.
I wonder if people remember the good old Bush years ? We can go back to being knee deep in wars that don’t matter, with the country teetering on depression and with ridiculous gas prices. Most intelligent Americans would cringe at that thought, but I think that’s what the Republicans enjoy.
No matter what your personal feelings about President Obama are, he deserves respect for the job he’s done. The constant bickering between the Republicans and Democrats only lowers public trust in the entire system.
The man even found a way to track down and kill Osama Bin Laden. The closest the Bush administration got to him was watching him on video.
