5k Charity Race on Uptown Campus Gets Robbed

By Chris Benjamin
On May 28, 2010

For their UC capstone project, four students created a 5k run to be held Saturday May 22, on UC's main campus. The race would raise money towards Xavier's Park Project. However, after a successful turnout on a beautiful day, the money raised for the project (over $600) was stolen in the Clifton area. The project, which is an annual fundraiser, is used to create safer local parks for children. To make donations to help cover the loss, contact Brian Bainum at bainumbm@mail.uc.edu. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
