Printing Policy Working

By David Berning
On November 16, 2012

As everyone knows by now, the computer lab policies have changed this year. Free printing no longer exists, and you now get printing credits. But does it really work? Yes, according to UCBA Information Technology staff.
So far this semester the computer lab has reported a 64 percent decrease in printing compared to last year. This saves a lot of paper and money for the College and eliminates wasteful printing.
This also creates less traffic at the printer, and selecting their own print job avoids students losing their documents.
Remember if you have any questions on computers and printing, the student assistants will be in the lab during operating hours.
