Internet Review: Youtube still top video site
Lately I have been on this YOUTUBE kick, because I am obsessed with finding funny and interesting videos about all my favorite things. And I can find them on YOUTUBE. I also like it because I can post my own crazy videos, and I can use the URL links and put them on my Myspace and Facebook sites, which might be totally pointless, but nevertheless enjoyable. I love how people from all over the world can post videos, both of things on TV and movies, and of things they make at home, such as music videos with scenes from favorite shows or pictures of favorite actors. Since I am such a fan of certain things, such as Hanson, "CSI Miami," "Star Wars," and "Back to the Future," YOUTUBE is a great place for me to turn for interesting videos.
Here's the breakdown of the site: http://www.youtube.com, if you've never been there. When you get to the main page, go to "LOGIN" and enter your information. It'll take you to a page that will say, "Videos being watched now." And it will have thumbnails, the names of the videos, and how long they are. Then, under that, they have the "PROMOTED VIDEOS" and "FEATURED VIDEOS."
But the cool thing is that you can go to the search bar and type in something you want to find. For me, I'll say "CSI Miami," because that's my fixation at the moment. It takes me to a page with all "CSI Miami videos" and other things related to it. Right now, the top "Miami" video is one for the episode "Dangerous Son," which was the premiere.
You can search by category or you can find people whose videos you like and do a search that way. Overall, it is a very excellent site, one that you'll enjoy.
